Victor Jacinto Rojas

Donna - Victor Jacinto Rojas passed away at the age of 68.  Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco.

Victor J. Rojas, 68, of Donna, TX, passed away on July 31, 2023. He was born on November 8, 1954, to Francisco and Antonia Rojas. Victor was a beloved family man who loved being on the open road.

Victor was preceded in death by his parents, Francisco and Antonia Rojas, and his brothers Rogelio Rojas and Juan Rojas.

He is survived by his wife, Rosalinda Rojas, his daughter Estrella L. Rojas, his son Victor Rojas Jr. (Esmeralda), his daughter Amy Rojas (Vanessa), and his son Jose Antonio Rojas.

Victor also leaves behind numerous grandchildren: Victor Rojas III, Brittany Rojas "Brindy", Cedric Garcia, Nicolas Rojas, Arron Rojas, Kaleb Garcia, Ezequiel R. Losoya, Asiabell Rojas, John R. Losoya, and Jose Antonio Rojas Jr. He was also blessed with a great-grandchild, Nathaniel Coronado.

He is survived by his brothers Francisco Rojas Jr (Norma+) and Juan Luis Rojas. His sisters Francisca Hernandez (Moises), Margarita Matamoros (Andy), Criselda Trejo (Rick) and Alma Casares (Juan III).

Victor loved the open road and spent many years as a trucker. He passed away doing what he loved.

A viewing will be held at Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco on Thursday, August 10th, from 3-8pm, with a Rosary service at 6pm.

Services on Friday will be 9am-2. The burial will follow at 3 pm on Friday August 11, 2023 at Val Verde Cemetary in Donna, TX.
