Romana Orozco

Donna - Romana Orozco, 101, passed away Sunday, February 25, 2024 at her residence in Donna, TX.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hawkins Funeral Home in Donna.

Romana Orozco passed away peacefully of natural causes on February 25, 2024, a few days before her 102nd birthday. Mrs. Orozco was preceded in death by her husband Andres Rocha Orozco and her daughter Cipriana Orozco. Mrs. Orozco was born in Matehuala, Mexico and she emigrated to the United States in the 1940s where she met her husband and they married and settled in Donna. Romana dedicated her life to her children, caring for her home and tending to her garden. She is survived by 11 children Gabriel, Anita Wessels (Bill) Hector Orozco (Ruth) Carlos Enrique Orozco, Andrea Cuellar (Juan), Concha Orozco, Enedina Orozco, Sergio Orozco (Paula) Esperanza Orozco (Debbie), Andres Orozco Jr. and Susana Muñoz (Rodolfo) and grandchildren: Monica (Peter), Rosanna (Rodolfo), Hector Jr. (Nancy), Ashley (Nick), Samantha, Laney, Andrew, Diego, Isabela, and great grandchildren: Liane, Leah, Ryan, Nicole, Marcus, Andrew Jr., six great-great grandchildren; Luke, Bella,Thomas, Ava, Grace and Rein.
