Donna - Rogelio L. Lugo, 84, passed away Friday, August 11, 2023 at his residence in San Antonio, TX. Funeral services are under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home in Donna.

Rogelio Luis Lugo, life-long resident of Donna, TX, went to be with our Lord on August 11, 2023 in San Antonio. He was born in Weslaco, TX to Juan Pablo and Guadalupe Lugo. Better known as Roy Lugo, he was a successful businessman, entrepreneur and a well-known community advocate. He is survived by his six children – Norma, Olga, Rogelio Jr., Rolando, Dahlinda and Sue Ellen. He is also survived by brothers Juan Pablo, Jr. and Joe Lugo and sister Lydia Jimenez. Mr. Lugo is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers – Robert, Frank and Alfredo and his sisters Beatriz and Maria Luisa along with his former wife, Irma. Roy is loved by his 22 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild along with numerous nieces and nephews.
