Donna - Juanita V. Garza, 96, passed away on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX.  Funeral arrangements are under the care of Hawkins Funeral Home in Donna.

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Juanita V. Garza, entered the Kingdom of Heaven on April 7, 2026, at the age of 96.

A beacon of love and tranquility, Juanita was the compass of our family. Her life was a testament to simple living, deep love, and the quiet wisdom she offered to all who knew her. She found joy in her flower garden, the stories of her Spanish novellas, and sharing memories over coffee and pan de dulce.

Her gentle heart, infectious laughter, and graceful spirit will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family. We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of love and prayers we have received.
