Juan Oviedo

Donna – Juan Oviedo, 84, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.  Juan was a dedicated husband, father, and grandfather.  He was a life-long resident of Donna and spent the majority of his working life as a truck driver.  He will be dearly missed by his family and close friends who would often congregate with him at his home in Donna.

He was born in Weslaco,  TX, March 8, 1937, son of Vicente Oviedo and Aurelia Echavarria Oviedo. He is preceded in death by his wife, + Audelia Briones Oviedo, his parents Vicente and Aurelia Oviedo, his three sisters Maria Antonia, Petra, Juana and brother Julian Oviedo

He is survived by his 5 children:  Anita Oviedo (Jesse) Zapata;  Juan Oviedo, Jr.; Irma Oviedo (Rodrigo) Ramos; Raquel Oviedo  (Tom Owens);  and Javier (Yvette) Oviedo.  His seven grandchildren, Rodrigo Rene Ramos, Jr., Alexandra, Esmeralda, Esperanza, Saul, Gabriella Rose, and Alina Jade Oviedo, nephew Eduardo Oviedo, brother in laws Daniel (Vicenta) Briones, Juan (+Luz) Briones, Jr., Ernesto (Corina) Briones, Ramiro (Elida) Briones and numerous relatives.
