Josefa (Ramirez) Torres

Donna - Josefa Torres passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, November 4, 2023. Josefa was a life-long resident of Donna, Texas. She was born on September 18, 1939. She attended Donna schools to where she applied her education to start her own business involving taking care of children first at her home then expanding to a reputable, Josie's Day Care. She operated Josie's Day Care for 30 years. After retirement, she continued her life journey with her family, both children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Willie Ramirez, sisters: Margarita Ochoa, Lala Sandoval, Enriqueta Ramirez, her mother, Consuelo Ramirez and father, Noe Ramirez Sr. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Daniel Torres, her three children, Martin, Daniel Jr., and Belinda, along with 10 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren, and her two brothers and one sister.
