Weslaco- Gloria M. Vega, 82,  passed away at her residence in Weslaco, TX . Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco, TX.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gloria M. Vega, passed away at the age of 82 on Tuesday, November 12, 2024.

She was born February 5, 1942 to Isabel and Amalia Montano.

She is preceded in death by brothers Eristeo Alfredo and Baldomero Montano, mother Amalia and father Isabel Montano Sr.

She is survived by son Marcus and daughter Rachel Vega, brother Isabel Montano Jr. and sister Estela Molina.

Gloria was a devoted mother, beloved grandmother and loyal friend. Always had a smile on her face, loved all the kids that she watched after throughout the years and loved every moment of it. She touched so many peoples' lives and will be deeply missed but never forgotten. We love you mom.
