Epifanio F. Barroso

Weslaco - Epifañio Barroso, 74, went home to be with our Lord and Savior June 16, 2021 at KnappMedical Center.

Born to Jesus and Cecilia Barroso in Guanajuato MX on April 7, 1947.

Epifañio was married 49 years to Maria Magdalena Barroso and survived by their seven children Oscar Barroso, Yvette Jimenez ( Augustin Jimenez), Cynthia Espinosa (Guy Espinosa), Arlene Carrasco (Thomas Carrasco), Epifanio Barroso Jr (Nancy Barroso), Abel Barroso (Joann Barroso), Joanna Barroso. He was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. 

He served as a great role model to 14 of his younger siblings. Survived by Manuel Barroso (Jean Barroso) Salvador Barroso, David Barroso ( Juanita Barroso), Joe Barroso (Olivia Barroso), Martin Barroso (Amada Garza), Macario Barroso (Madeline Barroso), Maria Barroso, Esperanza Barroso, Cecilia Ramirez (Samuel Ramirez), Antonia Banda ( Samuel Banda), Ramona Barroso, Yolanda Barroso, Estella Barroso, Leticia Simms. 

His faith in Christ is what kept him strong through all the hardships he endured. He will always be remembered as a man with a welcoming heart, who was always willing to lend a helping hand.
