Weslaco- Alfredo Villagomez Jr., passed away on Friday, October 17, 2025. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco.

Alfredo Villagomez Jr. age 83 passed away Friday, October 17th 2025. He was affectionately called “Chito” by his family and friends. Alfredo was born in Donna, Tx to Mr and Mrs Alfredo Sr. and Rosa Villagomez. He is processed in death by his parents, sister Yolanda and brother Adolfo.

He is survived by his wife Oralia M. Villagomez and his step children. Josefina (Keith) Picuo, Sandra (Jim) Darling, Deborah (Mark) Rodriguez, and Zeferino (Kimberly) Mendoza Jr. His niece Rosa Elena (Xavier) Pruneda and her children Xavier II and Jessica Rose and many loving grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a foreman for Crest Fruit Company in Alamo for many years. He was an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys and New York Yankees.
