Born on August 10, 1942, Alfredo's life was a testament to his love for his family, faith, and simple joys. He was a proud Dallas Cowboys fan, relished watching Westerns, drinking his coffee, and having taco time. Alfredo was described as a strong-willed, hardworking, loving, and caring man. He also loved to cook for his family and was delighted in preparing simple, heartfelt meals—especially serving his grandchildren eggs with ketchup, a gesture they fondly remember. While Alfredo loved spending time outside, he shared an interest in his flowers and cared for them till the end.
In addition to his passion for gardening, Alfredo had a deep love for dancing and listening to his favorite conjunto and Tejano music. He was a regular on the dance floor, where his energy and joy were infectious—nothing could keep him from dancing and enjoying the moment. Truly, Alfredo was the life of the party. Alfredo enjoyed his beer and his signature Jack and Coke. No matter where he was, he made it known when he was ready for a drink—and he always welcomed others to join him. Spending time with Alfredo often meant hearing unforgettable family stories, shared over laughter and a cold drink.
Family was at the heart of Alfredo's life, and he held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, whom he cherished deeply. Along his life’s journey, Alfredo met his beloved wife, Juanita. Together, they shared a love for dancing and celebrating life’s joyful moments. As their family grew, so did the importance of family gatherings, which became cherished traditions filled with love and laughter. He found great joy in spending time with them—often sharing laughs through playful pranks. Alfredo especially loved celebrating his birthday with his favorite cake, German chocolate cake, a time when his family surrounded him with love and made sure he always felt young at heart.
