Alejandro Ochoa

Weslaco- Alejandro Ochoa, 67, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at Knapp Medical Center in Weslaco, TX.

          He was born on March 4, 1954 in Mercedes, Texas; son of Jose Ochoa and Hilda G. Ochoa.

          Alex was and amazing person, as well as a loving husband. He loved spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping and fishing. He was an exceptional cook with tremendous work ethic and hard working always with the biggest heart. He will forever be the life of the party. We love him and will miss him.

          Alex is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Jose Ochoa Jr. and Alberto Ochoa.

          He is survived by his wife Yolanda Ochoa; his son Alejandro Ochoa Jr., and his daughter Venessa Ochoa (Springfield, Illinois), his sisters Beatriz Rodriguez Ochoa and Alma Diaz Ochoa.

          Visitation will be held today, Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Hawkins Funeral Home in Weslaco, TX. Cremation is for a later date.
